We've been brewing kombucha in Kuala Lumpur since 2012 — long before it appeared on café menus and supermarket shelves. Ours is not a commercial product scaled for shelf life. It's a living drink, brewed fresh in small batches, kept cold, and delivered to your door.

What makes our kombucha different

Our SCOBY (the mother culture that drives fermentation) has been maintained and refined for over a decade. We brew on a blend of 50% strong black tea and 50% Japanese green tea — the black tea feeds the culture and provides depth, the green tea adds polyphenol antioxidants and a lighter, cleaner note.

The result contains around 20 dominant bacterial and yeast strains. Fewer than kefir — but that's not the point. Kombucha operates through organic acids (glucuronic, acetic, L-lactic) that lab studies have shown can inhibit specific pathogens. Its acids may help create a gut environment that discourages H. pylori and Candida — a supportive addition rather than a replacement for medical treatment. Many drinkers also see healthier LDL cholesterol and blood sugar with consistent daily use over 30 days (alongside adequate water intake and regular movement).

How much to drink

No more than 500ml per day. Kombucha's organic acids are powerful — and like any concentrated medicine, more is not better. Half a litre daily is enough to produce results. Exceeding this regularly pushes the body toward excessive acidity. Drink as much kefir as you like, but respect the kombucha limit.

Our kombucha is brewed in Kuala Lumpur using locally sourced tea and fruits wherever possible. The flavours we offer — including seasonal editions with lychee — are ones you won't find from international brands. Local seasonal fruits change what's possible, and we brew with them when they're at their best.

The only ingredients we import are the rare ones that justify it — Açaí for example — because they add something genuinely useful that Malaysia doesn't grow locally. Everything else comes from here.

Our kombucha range

Classic black and green tea base · Mango · Strawberry · Passionfruit · Ginger · Seasonal: Lychee. Each flavour is brewed separately — not blended after the fact. The fruit ferments with the culture, which changes the flavour profile in ways that adding juice after fermentation never achieves.
